Another solid Pho place. For the most part it was tradicional Pho. Broth was good. The chicken was not boiled but grilled which gave it a little different taste and texture. 8outta10 for the Pho. Had some egg rolls. 8outta10 for the egg rolls.
Quiet. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Food is delicious and the portions are generous.
The complimentary Jasmine tea was delightfully tasty. The Pho beef soup was excellent, and the lemongrass chicken was moist and delicious. I’ll definitely go again.
Super disappointed with the “vege pho” completely raw veg in flavorless lukewarm water. Really laughably terrible.
Pho was great, the broth was decent, an ingredient was missing. Not enough noodles imo 😄, plenty of the meats. Taking a left turn from the main road into the parking lot was a pain as there is no designated turns to it. You have to sit there until it's clear to turn.
Personally, early morning was the best time for me to go to Pho Korner. The establishment is clean, tidy, and filled with Asian decor. In addition, the establishment is quite roomy and there's plenty of space to move around if you bring a party.
The staff was friendly, welcoming, and ready to serve me. From table order and back, the service was lightning fast.
The Pho Dac Biet was excellent and so was the Vietnamese iced coffee.
In terms of price, the above costed roughly costed me $19 (I can't remember exactly but it's close to that) minus tip. Remember to tip.
Overall, a pretty good early lunch spot if you have a hankering for Pho or Vietnamese cuisine.
We went to get some pho before visiting the Grotto. The broth was good, beefy and comforting. But I feel like the pho is missing something. The beef wasn't as tender as I'd like. The noodle also isn't as good as the best places, no chew. Still quite good, though. Way better than the pho I had at Fish Sauce. Not as good as HA&VL.
The egg rolls were good.
I give them 4.5*.
Awesome portions and absolutely delicious. Packed to the brim, generous sides, and lots of broth. If you want the best Pho in Portland, this is it!
